Mini dolls

 Usually I make my mini dolls from polymer clay, wire and wool. This time I tried to make two dolls completely out of polymer clay. The arms and legs connected with very thin wire.
They are about 4 cm high, I can use all my fabric scraps to dress them.
 Different methods of making a mini-doll.
The two largest ladies in the middle of this groupportrait are the ones completely made of polymer clay, which turned out to be rather fragile.
Next time I will try porcelain clay!

    They are Lovely, Margot! And they are so tiny! I want to try to make tiny dolls... but don't know the materials well enough.... polymer clay would seem so easy... but if too fragile, then the real porcelain I have never tried. I look forward to seeing more about these tiny tiny dolls!

      Hi Betsy, the little hands broke of when I made them from polymer clay! and the neck breaks when it is too thin...some people make tiny dolls from wood, I never tried that, afraid I`ll cut in my hand..I`ll order some porcelain clay and try that!

    Oh I like these little dolls too! I can't imagine being able to make dolls this small and then to dress them too! Wow!

    It takes a little patience to make them, but I can use the smallest pieces of leftover fabric ,lace and ribbon to dress them. I never knew what to do with these tiny leftovers, and I did`nt want to throw them away!
